Get off my LAWN! "Grumpy Old Farts"

This prolly doesn't qualify as "grumpy" enough but IMO Poodles are the best damn dogs in the world! We're on our second now; first was a sweet big Standard female, now we've got a Mini male. Both were/are so intelligent it's scary sometimes... The little guy (Sparky) does bite our fingers occasionally tho; he get's far too excited over 'treats'! -But he's smart, he's smart..... (Really!!)
We've also got a very stupid, nasty cat. (Mrs Katz). She bullies Sparky... I'm in my 80's and my ol'lady is too, but a bit older. (Which I always remind her about...) So yes, it get's pretty crabby abound here sometimes...
Give me a number. I deserve it... :eyebrow:

Welcome!

@Morrighan how are you liking the NBD so far?

Still playing with all the tone combinations! It's Raise Eyebrows impressive in serial mode, but at the moment kind of preferring both pickups with a the shallower cut. Frikkin' easy to play!

The school group is playing again tomorrow night if you care to watch. Well, you kinda have to watch since there will be an exam the following day.

Pretty much the same set list from this past Fri but adding my arrangement of Naima - 12/8 Afro-Cuban.

Exam questions:
How many saxophones are there? An acceptable answer is "I don't care".
What color are the basses?
What kind of bass amp is being used?
What is the best instrument in the group?
Who arranged the two best songs?
Who is the oldest person playing?
Essay question: Why have I wasted time reading this?

In case I can't make it, E, all of the above.:smug:[preferably 2 altos, 2 tenors, and a bari]

"I only counted zero baris, so I stopped caring." Is that an acceptable version?;)

And, 'break a leg' tomorrow night!:bassist:

I have had words with our Fed Ex delivery person...polite so far but, they will leave packages propped up against the garage door. The big one. It is not easy to see them when backing out of the garage in an SUV.
Today it happened again AAAAAAHHHH!

I had a tube tester shipped with Fedex and after being fixed it arrived back home in worse shape than when I sent it out, it took me months and many calls and emails to finally get the insurance payment, they have funny commercials but I'll use both UPS or the PO before I'll use them.

Walking around outside without a mask is fine as long as you can distance. On a plane, never. Middle seats should be verboten unless a dog is in that space. And if you are wearing a mask, you should be given priority boarding.

This is making me think twice about flying home next month. I won't worry from Lima to Miami, it's the route from Miami to Boston.

FAA warns of spike in unruly, dangerous passenger behavior

The behavior in question includes passengers refusing to wear masks, drinking excessively and engaging in alleged physical or verbal assault, including what the agency describes as political intimidation and harassment of lawmakers.

In Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for example, a fistfight broke out amid a dispute over mask-wearing. In Washington, D.C., a passenger was escorted off a flight after arguing with flight attendants over the mask rule.

Very moving video! Of course the music is very touching. But, he's also got some serious acting chops there, too! It gave me da feelz.
.

It brought a tear to my eye, it summed up what many musicians are going through. George invited Peter to come over and play on the All Things Must Pass album. Chances are, he played on the original Isn't It A Ptty.

Good luck with your flight. Chances are you will be fine.

We have two Chihuahuas, a male and a female and a female cat (Gata), the cat is the middle sized animal, the male always barks and threatens the cat, the cat stands her ground but does not like these noisy animals at all, the female only bothers the cat if the male does. The female (Mia) is afraid of the big giant cat and will not move at all, just stare when she's around the cat unless Big Bobby (don't ask) is around. The cat will sit in a chair and swipe at Bobby when he walks by, she doesn't like Bobby at all. This works nice for her because they're too small to get up on the chair. I think it's very funny, my wife doesn't.
The cat is smarter than both of them put together. Here's an example of their relative IQ levels: The cat can open a door as long as it's not latched, she has several ways of doing this, she'll just push it open with her front paws and if that doesn't work she'll run at it and get up on her hind legs and push it with what little body weight she has. If the door is not open quite wide enough for the dog, Bobby, he will stand there patiently peering through the door until someone opens it for him, at least the little female dog is smart enough to push through the door if it's open enough for her to get her snout into, but not Bobby.
If you are lying on the bed especially late at night, the door will move VERY slowly and you think a ghost is coming in but nope, it's only Gata. If the door is closed tight she will let you know she's out there waiting to come in. When she was younger (she's 14 now but still in very good shape) she used to jump up and hang on the door knob if she wanted to come in but she never quite got the hang of turning it.

Welcome to the US of A! If I had both shots, I would still wear a mask from Miami to MA.

In my case, with both shots, I would drive the MH from California to Canada. I am not getting on any airplane, with or without center seats. I am not getting involved with any of the crazies out there...it's just not worth it. In fact, moving back to Canada seems like a good plan if things "progress" like they seem to, just my humble opinion.
