My first car I bought as a freshman at UofW Seattle. The University was full of wealthy families and a professor was retiring and advertised a Chrysler New Yorker wagon for sale. It was $750 and I happened to have the money at the time. I didn't try to barter. After signing over the car to me, he handed me three sets of keys on very nice keychains. I got into the car to inspect more and found a leather bound zippered case with the entire service history in the case. He had it steam cleaned and it was never that clean again!Needless to say, although I might say I've always been a competent bass player, having such a large car was always a plus for landing gigs! Here's a generic interweb picture of the car.

Nice, what year was that, about a '64? I was thinking of buying a '74 about twenty years ago with a 440 except it had a manifold leak and they didn't make them anymore for the wagon, was a beautiful car though. It had a power rear window.
