That's (mostly - then there's the can't spell folks) just americans and britons separated by a common language. Talk about your suspenders over there (what they call braces) and they get all freaky (suspenders = garter belt in britain.) Grey/Gray color/colour the list goes on...

well a bit of grumpyness caught up with me yesterday. i am in bangkok and the protests and traffic problems dont get to me BUT, the kids shouting and splashing around in the hotel pool do. bloody kids. it dont last too long though as i remember what a little bugger i was as a kid and calm down. just to bring the focus back to things bass, i had a bass jam with a japanese bassist on the street a couple of nights back. just two bassists and a mini tambourine under a groove. glorious.

Don't know about the rest of you grumps, but this global warming is killin' me this year. I know it's not as cold down here in the 'sunny' south as it is elsewhere, but damn!!! Like 'they' say it's all relative ----and it's relatively cold down here!!! Bring on spring and the flatbellies before I cough my head off..

Can't stand to see a good thread go bad so here goes.
What's your favorite bass line in a song that gets you completely absorbed, movin, groovin, perfect tone, etc etc etc?
Mine is "Stuck in the middle" by stealers wheel. Absolutely perfect--tone, groove, feel, etc---and if the video is correct played on a mustang/musicmaster. Anyone have any history on this recording?
Wake up long enough for a comment, then go back to your nap
