Productive Christmas, finished building the frame and body for the chariot for our new show. Will build up the wheels and axle next week, and hopefully test it out before the first. The music is coming together nicely and the other act I am partnering with is going to make this show fun to do! I will post pictures when it's all together.

Dorothy and I had such a great Christmas. Christmas eve we were invited to a home just across the street for a family party. We both had a great time.

Up early on Christmas day and off to another friend’s home for an afternoon feast. Yet another great time meeting their family.

home for a short while before heading out to one of our favourite restaurants for Turkey dinner. It was very, very tasty.

home again and settled down in front of the fire and watched the DVD of “The Bishop’s Wife.”

All in all it was the best christmas we have had in years. :D

Hope y’all had a great time yourselves.

Yep, three different channels on over the air around here. Oregon Public Broadcasting has lots of cool in-house content too.

Yep, we have 3 LPB, Louisiana Public Broadcasting, channels also with lots of local programing. My wife loves all the cooking shows, like I need more carbs, consarnit! Occasionally there's some good guitar, or other, music on some of them.

Mrs. Dog is in mourning for Downtown Abby going off, but we got a bunch of 'em on the DVR. Oh, joy  she just heard that the Midwife show is coming back, after going to South Africa just last night.

Yeah, PBS gets you all cultured up, like a petrie dish. Ehh, sometimes it's good though.

Dang, whippersnappers!

Friday I met my nephew for dinner, met his wife and new baby. Not a junky old baby, she's only 6 months old and a few 1000 miles in a car seat. Don't usually care much for babies, but when they are your blood, they're like crack! I need more baby. Now I need to drive an hour and a half while they are still nearby. I NEED MORE BABY TIME! It was a good time, with my mom there, we had four generations of us. I brought the dinner music; ripped an LP of my grandmother on piano, so in spirit there were 5 gens and baby loved it! I expect many more babies in that generation coming along over the next several years. So to get it straight off the bat, I'm calling her "Baby." I can't hardly remember my dogs names and keep them straight, no point in trying to keep up with baby names. I NEED MORE BABY AND I NEED IT NOW! That was the best part of Christmas. Christmas eve good too at mums, with my other brother and 2/3's of his kids. Christmas day at home with wife and my new Way Huge Pork Loin :D That was good too.
