Ah the good old Astrodome! It's been closed for 13 years now and the powers that be still haven't decided to weather to tear it down or repurpose it. Strange to drive by it today and know it's the worlds largest indoor rat house.
They should just leave it be and in thousands of years it can be regarded as Houston's Stonehenge.

I'm surprised that VW did not jump on it. They have been storing the recalled 2009^ diesel cars at the long abandoned Pontiac Silverdome.They are cars that failed emission requirements due to fraudulent programming of the engine computer.

They are bringing some of them to life by modifying them to comply. It generally makes them less economical and run like crap sometimes.
Not only that but they suffer from the ravages of having sat there for years motionless. That has got to hurt.
They bought all those cars back at quite a huge loss to the company. Those that kept their car got them modified for free plus a handsome restitution of something like $5-6000.

I think that it’s against the law of bass to put a sticker on your instrument.

and it occurs to me the proper place for stickers is the back of my tablety-thing. The one that finally croaked with the BSOD. The one where I kept a couple PDFs of early editions of the Real Book that found their way to me when I said I was trying to work out the chord structure of Over The Rainbow. "Lots of meat on that bone," a wizened sort said, and tossed me the files. The ones sacrificed to the Gnomes of Antioch in exchange for a brass slide.
New tablety-thing gets new stickers. When it's time for a new one. Soon, as Colonel Sanders told Dark Helmet.
My family visited it once when I was in my early teens. At the time, it had the world's longest zipper fastening the astroturf together in the outfield.

That is a malevolent grin if I ever saw one...
Those round stickers with the toothy grin were very popular with my daughter and her friends 10-15 years ago. I never cared for them but was given a few that I stuck in a drawer and forgot about.
Years later, after I bought that bass, I found the stickers and thought if I used an exacto knife I could cut out the eyes and smile and have a bass that smiled at people.
Nobody ever notices!
