By some rare chance, bought a smrtphn holder Thursday

This positioning allows me to see both the metrognome and notes. Notes as in things I write to remind myself of chord sequences and such. Also, two books from Carol Kaye are in the post. There are CDs to burn and move to the smrtphn, and sheet music to follow.

I'll see myself out.

One street had yellow leaves all over the sidewalk. It’s 25C (77F) this morning and people are out in coats, they just can’t wait for the fall.

I went to a market in Little Italy today. Everything looks so good. Italian tomatoes are coming in. Families come and order them, they are delivered in a dump truck and deposited onto their front lawns. They take their yearly supply of sauce very seriously.

The bakeries at the market know how to do almond desserts. I make the trip there for their gooey almond croissants. The sign in the front says to distance two baguette lengths.

Laughing out loud in Real Life ™ as I see what's in today's mail, I don't notice the neighbor collecting his mail until I look up. What I hoped for today are the two Carol Kaye books. What is actually there is a great surprise to me, for I (almost) forgot ....

It's the finale of perks from my contribution to Ari Cap's IndieGoGo crowd funding for The Pattern System for the Bass Player. Received the book when it published. Received the wall chart some while later. And forgot about, seen here in Real Time ™
