Not sure how eye would pronounce it. How would you pronounce it?

Not to me, aside from the typo introduced by a sloppy translation. The word should be "oishii," meaning delicious, tasty, etc.Something lost in translation?

As a weak defense, it was already old when I bought it. I bought it to practice typing at home because I was determined to be the only person in my family that had a marketable, blue-collar skill.
I had that thing for many years and only upgraded it when personal computers became a thing.

J-school recap: we were given "facts" on a single sheet of paper to work into a news story. The "fact sheet" was a minefield of GFEs — Gross Factual Errors. The first student to turn in a clean story received a grade. Everyone else took a fail. Fun, fun, fun.
Actually I said "dits" (er, or something like dat?) but somehow "boobies" came up?I would just say "boobies" and call it a day...![]()

Treble and bass clef. Happily able to read both, if pressed. It's been a long time since I read treble clef. It's what I learned on. That long ago. The heads all include Carol's own notes, and sometimes, corrections. There are a few typewritten admonishments, like "don't try and walk the b9 until you understand ..."
Looks more like a couple of bald heads with an olive on each.I would just say "boobies" and call it a day...![]()

When I was of school age, typing class was for girls (you know why, say no more, say no more). We used huge manual typewriters with no letters on the keys. ... ... Fun, fun, fun.
