So it's settled, then. Motion passed: Membership shall be restricted exclusively to grumpy OLD farts, without "social", "in training" or "associate" membership status given to kids.
(But...how exclusive can a club be that allows someone like me to not only join, but is given the honor of being of "Member #1"?)

Id say your being 62 makes you qualified. I got an impression somewhere on the thread that 50 might be a reasonable minimum, but dont think it was adhered to.
Actual grumpiness is a bit more subjective, but we can give benefit of doubt, there...![]()

Musicians are notoriously flakey. That can work to your benefit one day should find no way out of a bad situation.

Red Skelton was one of my favorite shows...back when there were only 3 channels to choose from...and one of those required rotating the rooftop antenna.
Mine re emerged on my back and my butt. I look like a freekin bald sasquatch now.
