Thank you all for your understanding of the impact this challenge is for me as a musician. I'm actually lucky to have a wife who will not tolerate wimping of any kind. She would be hard pressed to offer me a band aid if I was bleeding out on the floor. (Just kidding). She has the cred to be that way as she overcame a really tough growing up with the help of her equally tough dad. So I'm expected to be a stoic too. Not my best talent.
Anyhow I do get comfort in the fact that as musicians you all understand the terrifying aspects of the possible outcomes. In the past I have wondered which, for me, would be worse; loss of sight or hearing?
I do have faith that I will get better, but as a GOF I know that healing UP takes a lot longer at this age.
