Aviation fans, check out the Nevada Triangle on netflix.
Shaddap about smoking...I’ve give well over a month without a cigarette, or anything else in the smokable category. Was one of those “better do this or you could die a lot sooner than you wanted” epiphanies.
Getting thru the stress filled holidays without smoking, and without beating the ever loving crap out of those who truly deserved it...well...it was challenging.
It took a stroke to get my attention! Been 12 years now no cigs but gotta have my black coffee and a couple nice sized Dirty Martinis before dinner. I do my best creative thinking during that time. I call that my "martini inspirations".
Thanks
Guy
I don't have a problem with hard liquor. It has a problem with me. It messes with my ability to move about, speak, or even sit in a chair. So I leave it alone nowadays.I envy you. If I drink any hard liquor I have to go out to the shed to do it... until she's in bed.... lol..
Lesson learned from observing and listening to those who came before me (and have sadly passed on)...keep every tooth you can, for as long as you can, even if they are mostly prosthetic replacement parts...dentures are no fun and bring with them their own set of issues. The only down side is that following this advice is often seriously expensive!Well, I'm grumpy as hell and apparently old (not farty at the moment though) cuz in about 12 hours I report to my dentist's office to have 2 teeth yanked out and an expensive but temporary bridge installed. There may be some bone grafting involved too, but won't know until they dig into my lower jaw. Then in 8 weeks, once my mouth it healed up from that onslaught, they do impressions for a permanent bridge and when that's ready they'll grind down a couple teeth on each side of the gap and cement the permanent bridge in and I'll owe the dentist about $10,000. No guarantee that I won't lose more teeth in the coming years either. I wonder at what point it's more economical to just have 'em all yanked out and replaced with full dentures.
Getting old really sucks sometime.
Have you got insurance? Pick the cheaper one.Well, I'm grumpy as hell and apparently old (not farty at the moment though) cuz in about 12 hours I report to my dentist's office to have 2 teeth yanked out and an expensive but temporary bridge installed. It's REALLY important to read all of the details concerning dental insurance. They typically cover everything... except for all the stuff they don't coverI checked into dental insurance when this all came up. They wouldn't cover this stuff and even if they did, the "best" policy I found capped the yearly benefits at $1500. I would have blown through that in my first appointment.
