I wish...dude just grabbed a handful of Mr Winkie, and we are off to the races. He did talk me thru it, though, advising what was going on, why, how much longer, etc.

After reviewing what COULD have happened (this was the flexible scope, not the solid fixed scope) it was only twice as bad as it sounds. There just ain’t enough people working at that Doc Office to hold me down for an unmedicated fixed procedure.

Well, I went to the Epifani thread, asked twice what made the cabs special-- no one answered. They were so busy having a love-fest over each others' cabs they couldn't stop to answer. So-- GOF's-- Epifani-- Baer-- any opinions? As you probably remember, I live on an island in Alaska and the chance to crossing one of those cabs here is about as good as-- well you know... Ok one more question-- the Baer vaguely resembles a Greenboy cab. Coincidence? I really like the idea of a midrange speaker/woofer instead of woofer/tweeter... really don't know why....?

I liked the Epifani cabs I've had in the past (3x10 was my favorite, but overkill for my needs), but after hearing several tales of bad customer service, I'd have second thoughts. I haven't had an opportunity to try a Baer (I'd certainly like to), but have heard nothing but good comments about the speakers and about their customer service. I like the idea of cone mids too.
FWIW, I've heard very positive ravings about Duke LeJeune and his AudioKinesis cabs. His customer service is supposed to be outstanding as well as his speakers and his prices are probably in the same boutique ball park as Epifani and Baer.
I know this isn't exactly first hand experience and is just my $0.02, but maybe it'll help.

Hey @ric426 I had a pair of AK Hathor 12's and in a moment of insanity I sold them! But I'll be honest. I ended up with a pair of Eden EX110's that are pretty loud and punchy for small cabs. If you heard them you wouldn't believe they're just 10's. But I'm getting some GAS going and I've been looking at the Baer's and the Schroeders. I hear good things about both builders. I've always been attracted to the Greenboys because of their 12/6 format. Now I believe they're bigger than I want to deal with, and the Baers look very similar, like the same speaker configuration philosophy. I like the looks and weight of the Schroeders but the opinions are divided here on TB. Some say they're too middy, some say they're a dream to use...
