Hey @Stumbo hope you are well. I like the look of the Revsounds but was totally turned off by the bass player slapping his bass with his thumb on the Revsound 110. I know I know it's the style nowadays but I AM a GOF. I play with fingers and 4/4 time like ZZtop. But the cab looks good.

My guess is that all will return to normal within a week or two. This thread is fun and has a life of its own because of the people, not some random category heading. At least that's my thought on it and I suspect most of us have been around long enough to know that even when things around us change, we don't have to let it change us. More importantly nobody said to cease operations, they just asked us to take the party to another room...I can live with that.

funny stuff here! i hadn't visited for several weeks so i picked up where i had left off (8-10) pages ago. a conflict between GOFs and mods. the mods won, of course, but the resilience of the GOFs is a continuing testament to the value of...well...resilience....yeah, resilience. i love resilience!

I have received a warning by PM. I replied to it stating my thoughts so I am expecting to be banned again shortly. If so I’d like to wish all the GOF’s the best and the greatest of luck. Especially with their health which it seems is a subject verboten. The fun has gone for me and I am left with a feeling of great disappointment. this used to be such a nice place to spend time but with the Sword of Damocles hanging over our heads not so much!

Attention all GOF's! Report on all thumbs and toes and appendages accounted for? What say ye this Friday morning? The weather is gorgeous in Sitka today and there's definitely a chill in the air leading to fall. It's such a welcome change from the unusual heat we had all summer. I am going to grill my buns off (grilling hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, not my actual buns
) this weekend as the weatherman is calling for rain starting next week.Every year at this time Mother Nature (or your Higher Power) cleanses out the streams of all the dead salmon by washing them into the ocean. It's a miraculous transformation. For a week the streams smell of dead fish then after a week of mini-monsoon weather they are scrubbed clean and everything smells fresh-- like pine needles and salt air.
Carey is doing better but a small cold is going around and we're both wheezy, that too shall pass. We're going to clean out the shed to make room to remove more stuff from our very small place to make it more cozy for winter. Life is good, and we still we got a home (thread) GOF's-- so suck it up! LOL J/K!
What a week!!! On the positive side, I am grumpier than ever...hope all of you are as well.
