TBH, it often bothers me that we Viet-era vets weren't given the respect that the current guys get-But-at least They get well deserved respect. B/c I wasn't in country, I don't exactly consider myself a "Vietnam" vet although we(our Navy shipboard band)tried to do a tour of some bases. We never got approval but the band on the carrier that replaced ours did get approval and made a 6 week tour-and got berets to wear with their uniforms.
Uh, ...er, . . . Yeah, determination! That's it! (Actually, indignation that my paparazzi-mom burst into my room with a camera 'cause she heard me singing and playing. This is just before I yelled, "Mo-o-om!") Very determined! Grrrr! The flash really washed out my dark, for me, tan at the time.
Honesty is Not always the best policy-funny as hell though.

Relative to nothing in particular, I'm reading posts and consuming a Guinness Bold and Bittersweet Stout. Life ain't bad.
I think my body has adjusted to living in Chem Labs and Guiness X-stout. If either were removed, I fear sudden death.
