Get it checked regularly, bro. That's an order sailor! That sux bro. My mom was inches away from that a month ago, both her brother and sister had it and it took her sisters life. So that gene is strong in us.

Excuse my ignorance on ancient Native Alaskan history, traditions and beliefs, but what did the ancient Alaskans make their fake Christmas trees out of?Attention all GOF's. Thanks guys for keeping the spirit alive. We are a unique group of grumpies and I love ya all. Now I'm gonna puke. J/K. Report front and center, on current status RE: all fingers and toes and appendages accounted for. Carey and I are getting our ancient fake tree out to start decorating this weekend. On the tribal council we just bought a four story building for new tribal headquarters. It was the old US Forest Service building and it's built to almost withstand an atomic bomb attack LOL. We're very fortunate, it was a good deal and it will consolidate all of our office that are rented into one building we will own.
Weather's very windy but 47 degrees. Got some work to do around the house, don't know who might show up for Christmas! What say ye, GOF's? What are you up to this weekend?

We love you too Bro drool
Present and accounted for, but just got over being afraid, and I think I had better talk appendages after I reassemble my jeep.
I put the like new key gizmo back in and it started, ran a bit and died, lather rinse and repeat a few times, check engine codes and had an error. Grumpity grump grump. Came in and looked up the code and the key was not recognized by the Jeep security Police inside the computer. That was my fear, when I unplugged a box and removed it to try and get it unfrozen, but didn't see any other way. Actually, I was thinking I had to pull the electrical part the cylinder sits in... the actual switch. Read the Internet again and found out it might just need to reset the CPU. Ctrl+alt+del (pull a battery cable and step on the brakes for a couple minutes. Started and ran rough from not knowing the fuel/air adjustments and all. After it ran through limp home mode and ran fine, I restarted it a couple of times. I think it's fixed. Continue to pray and optionally stand at attention or parade rest. Nah sit around, it's Friday.
Back at it...![]()
Sciatica changes your life, that's for sure. That unrelenting pain is like nothing else.
Hopefully I’m qualified to join the GOF club.....I was mistaken for a senior on Tuesday at the pharmacy! Wut? I took the discount anyways...
The word sciatica caught my eye....in my younger years we used to say: “my sciatica is acting up” and laugh our asses off. Not any more, I tells yah.
About 10 years ago I got in a bike accident and compressed a few vertebrae. Had some weird sciatic symptoms including “sparking kneecaps” and “numb thighs”. Over the years, the symptoms subsided to barely noticeable.
Well, I just came back from an unusually long work trip...Singapore to be exact. After 14 hours squished into a scum class seat between Singapore and the UK, the sciatic symptoms are back full-time. Not as painful as @steve_rolfeca is going though but extremely uncomfortable. Hoping it goes away again.
The sad fact about this is that when I was explaining this to my boss, he says: why didn’t you fly business class? I said: was that an option?! D’oh!!!
Silly @BadExample .... why the old ancestors used Amazon.com!Excuse my ignorance on ancient Native Alaskan history, traditions and beliefs, but what did the ancient Alaskans make their fake Christmas trees out of?![]()

Welcome, if you're grumpy and throw kids of your lawn now and then... the last time I checked I believe @BadExample was volunteering to give out numbers, and a few grumps took their own picks and told everyone to get off their lawn! LOL.

I took a different approach to keeping those kids off my lawn. I turned the sprinklers off and grew a nice crop of burrs or whatever you call them. The "kids" don't like getting them between their toes and other places (?) so they stay off of what used to be my lawn!

Very sorry (grumpy) to hear this, Steve, but great that you are getting better (negating some of the grumpy). All present and accounted for, but not working optimally.
