I should have added that common sense needs to be used while driving a truck in the snow. With ice all bets are off no matter what you drive.

Vodka, a goodly dash of Celery salt, a few drops of Green Tobasco, a couple of shakes of Worcestershire Sauce, a good squeeze of lemon and top up with Mott's Clamato juice. A Caesar made in heaven!!!

Smirnov or at least equivalent.... mandatory (I use Gilbys.... a bit less expensive but never had a hangover from it.)
Fresh lemon juice
Fresh lime juice
1/3 shot worstershire (yeah I spelled it wrong)
At least 10 shakes of old bay
Knife tip of horseradish (not the SUPER hot stuff)
If you want added hot sauce , I have it but I don't use the stuff myself
The party has begun , come on down and belly up.
Oh yeah and a clove of fresh squeezed garlic.

Old Bay is a crab seasoning. Don't know if you get blue crabs up your way or not but it is well known anywhere around the Chesapeake bay area where blue crabs are the norm.I had to grab the bottle out of the fridge to spell it correctly!!

If made with Clamato juice they become Bloody Caesars!!
The rest however sounds like a good plan!.Edit: I should have mentioned that I like the extra spicy Clamato, the one with the red lid. If you like horseradish then the yellow lid is the one for you.

Ok so FFTT is making up a batch of bean soup , Seahag cooked up a huge pot of chili and Bassman Paul and I are making Bloody Ceasars. A guaranteed recipe for happy old farts if I do say so myself. 
At one time in my adult life, in the eighties, I could hit a higher note than my soprano sister. This, it should be mentioned, was singing not the other thing. Then I lost it when I didn't sing falsetto for a few years. Still, lately as I try to hit higher and higher notes, the roughness seems to be easing. I'm hoping that I'll be able to get some of it back and usable.
I have to admit, a big pot of chili does sound good with the weather we're having.
