GOF, the GAS version = you hear the word "ice" and ring the bank to finance a personal zamboni.

GOF, the Mad Max version = you hear the word "ice" and add spikes, tank treads and a PA to your walker.

Besides the obvious, when I see GOF, I think of what old people need, Grease, Oil, and a Filter.

Of course, this doesn't yet exist, so I'd have to buy both the P and J models and swap necks. Hence the bank call. But the bank said no, even after offering all my guitars and amps as collateral! (sigh)

Oh, well, I'm quite happy with my '04 MIM Pbass Special in Chrome Red with pearloid pickguard. But I'll try to rustle up some grumpiness over something.

Nice bass. it’s fun to dream. I wouldn’t mind getting a Geddy Jazz bass. Seems like a workhorse instrument at a good price.

A group I was part of(on keys, sax, flute and bass)in West Palm Beach backed The Coasters for one show. We had one night of rehearsal and went for it. Funny, cool guys.

Hey, me too.

My group, Thee Committee, backed the Coasters, Peaches and Herb, Rosie and the Originals, The Drifters, The Penguins and Big Joe Turner, all in different shows, in the So.Cal. area back in the day.

In observing a line of rocking chairs for sale on the porch of a "quaint" restaurant, I observe they think all old folk love rockin' chairs. My 30-something friend protests: "I like rocking chairs!" And reply in an affected Southern accent well who don't!
