I respectfully disagree. "Kids nowadays" is not the same as the kids we (I) were in the 60's. We were polite, respectful, and spoke when spoken to. We sometimes had a switch on our backside when we showed too much disrespect. We got up when ladies entered the room, held the doors open for ladies, and stood up when they left.
We respected the WWII generation and marveled at their stories. The were the greatest generation. They made a beautiful world and we had everything we need.
Now I look at these sticky young people who don't even have an awareness about them and wonder how the world became so ignorant in such a short amount of time. Oh yes, the internet. Smartphones. Ignorance, crassness, lack of respect, are all a product of our dear internet. Greasy people in mom's basement chastising and insulting everyone they can without a second thought. Welcome to the 21st century, folks. Like it?
