Lifting a 212 cabinet and a separate head is always easier than lifting a 212 combo, it is also much more convenient and always sounds better.
Tube amps always sound better than solid state amps. Especially when half the tubes are blown.
1600W is not enough for a cafe gig. You need at least 2000W.

5 string basses should always be tuned BEADG. Only Fieldy is allowed to drop-tune. Up-tuning is not even a real word. Just look in the dictionary.
Relic'd basses are just for pretentious upstarts. Besides, it is actually physically impossible to relic a bass to look like natural wear. I am pretty sure that Einstein proved that early on in his career.
