Going for walks, seeing some cool cars.

I've been AWOL from this thread for awhile, but there have been some good sightings. What could be better than an Aston Martin cabriolet in British Racing Green? The top should be tan, but hey, we'll all survive somehow.

The second is a rare bird, a second generation SAAB 9-5, which was built for only about a year (2010-11) before the marque finally disappeared. This one was in downtown Philly a few weeks ago. I had a first generation 2001 9-5 Aero, so I was excited about the second generation, and actually took one for a test drive. For such a large car, it was incredibly light and agile, so I liked it, but I knew better than to spend so much on a car with suspect reliability from a brand that was clearly in deep trouble. I bought an Acura instead, and still have it 12 years later. I still miss SAAB though. That 9-5 Aero was an absolute beast, especially on the highway.

Jackpot in our little town today. Nothing official, just maybe a club out on the mountain roads.

Hello again, all.

I've posted pictures of this Lotus before, but it was always parked between two cars.

I was out for a walk, and was lucky to find it parked on a main drag with no other cars nearby.

I stumble on this car about 6 times a year.

I love it.

Enjoy. View attachment 4602639View attachment 4602641 View attachment 4602642

10 day inspection sticker in the window..... either they just registered that car or there's an issue getting it to pass NYSI.

I didn't notice that!

Good eyes, Mike!

I want to talk to the owner about this car, but I only saw him once in two years, and he was with his signifigant other, and I didn't want to bother them.

Maybe in the future.

Mike
