BTW, this thread stands as a great example of why tabs ultimately suck. No rhythmic info, no translation to other instruments, just the raw "put your fingers here" info that means nothing to anyone without any context.
This. A band that wants to tour, record, and get a deal should be past tabs.. IMO.![]()
I agree I prefer notation, but even when I asked for that they replied we don't know any theory.

IMO, one of the first things they should have done is hand you a recording of all of the songs they wanted you to learn.

+1. Tabs are just a shortcut to be used when learning by ear, worthless by themselves.
