Guild Pilot bass club?

if you look at my family pic. the third one from the left is finished with tung oil. yours is maple and not sure how yours would look. that bass i did it to was alder(i think). and was painted not stained.

the eight string i am building also has a tung oil finish on it as well. but same thing it was painted and i stripped it and tung oil finished it.

not to mention it would probably be a pain to get the stain off of your bass for a natural finish. but i am not sure. i am all for sanding and putting new pickups and preamps in my pilots. i own 10 and none of them have the same electronics in them. well except for my two advanced and my 83. but those will stay stock as long as i have them.

sorry jim. but i wont sell it back. :D

what kind of guild you got for sale in holland bassfish? is it maple of painted body?

yeah a red-stained maple body... '84 model, with the different headshape(the more metall kinda looking one, just like the one above)

really nice one... but like I said, I don't have the money, but there are no offers uptill now, they aren't well loved around here I guess...

I may soon be the owner of a green maple 5 string. with 2 emg jazz pick ups.
Not sure of the year. The bass is great condition. 500.00 two much to pay?
I do own a Dearmond deluxe 6string in mint condition.
