Epiphone SG EB-0 bass with Dimarzio model one, Hipshot tuners, and Hipshot Supertone bridge for $199! Those mods probably cost at least $240 on their own. Even if the bass itself is garbage, the parts alone are worth that (not to say these basses are, I've actually played some nice specimens)

Funny, I was in Hollywood last night to pickup an amp I bought there and played this bass as I was waiting for the lines to cool down. It was nothing special for me personally but it’s a nice sounding and looking bass. Pots are a bit scratchy but that’s a simple fix.

I am not familiar with Muckleroy basses, but I know some TalkBass members are fans. I have a habit of checking GC 6-String Basses often. I saw this Fretless 6-string appear yesterday. I've no idea if $2300 is a deal but I thought I'd let TB'ers know about it. If not immediately interested, one could save the link & check back occasionally. If the listing is still there for 90 days, sometimes GC will lower the price a little.

While this isn't a "smokin'" deal, it is a pretty good deal... Sire V7 Vintage (70's pickup spacing) 5 string for $400.

OoOoOo Nice! I’m just 25 minutes away from that GC shop. Maybe I’ll check it out if they still have it on the floor to test out. They really do come up with excellent Used basses that I still kick myself over when I came across a custom Spector Bass for $299 :banghead:
