What happened my dude? That's hilarious . Just was getting ready to post this. Just pulled the trigger on it, although it's still listed as for sale. If I end up with it, I'll let everyone know what's up. If it's a dud, you'll see it back online
I'm super tempted to pick this up...!you're not dumb! I thought it was a decent price and maybe it lingers because it's filed in the wrong place

Call the store and ask for discounts. Do it all the time breh.Tax and shipping bring the cost up to almost $1650... might be a bit more than I'm willing to pay for a sight-unseen 30-year-old bass in a color I don't love. But I'd love to get a Stingray 5... argh
While I spent the last half hour failing to find a working coupon code, they fixed the listing to say EBMM, lol
Are there coupon codes for used gear? I've never been able to get a discount on used gear. The only perk I've ever come across was that I stumbled into free shipping on a piece of used gear when I put it in my cart to check on what the shipping cost would be.
That's what I do. I call and ask them for 20% off and go from there. They usually at least knock off the shipping cost and/or throw in a set of strings.Usually, coupons don't work on used stuff, in my experience. GC used to occasionally run a 10% off sale on used items, but the last time I remember that happening was about six years ago.
Some people report having success making a lower offer than the listed price, visiting or calling the actual store where the item is for sale. Supposedly it can work, especially if the item been sitting awhile. Never tried it myself, though.

My GC story is - I got a good deal on a fender rumble 200 used from them but they charged me sales tax on the shipping cost and couldn't understand why I had a problem with that, nor did they have any interest in fixing the issue. It wasn't enough money to quibble over but it was irritating to me that they didn't really care.
Yeah, a guy in the FB Modulus group liberated it from the clutches of Guitar Center![]()
Any of them want a Modulus Fea bass?
