I have always been interested in the form & function of guns. All weapons really. From a broadsword to an M1A1 MBT, the allure began at an early age. (Well, I guess I should have said Sherman for the tank then! ) I see the obvious "art" in FLKnife's beautiful offerings but I also see it in the patina of Jon's awesome BH Mauser.

I have a Husky '42 Swede M38 in 6.5x55 that is a joy to look at but will make you just grin when you fire it and work that Mauser action. Like butta, even after all those years. Or maybe because of those years. It has history like it's trying to tell me a story. But it is a different kind of "art" than my Beretta Silver Pigeon II 20ga o/u that is also a joy to shoot and has incredible artwork, fit and finish.

Does that make any sense?

I looooove to shoot. I've handled plenty of semi-auto pistols but nothing comes close to the joy of shooting a .44 Mag wheelgun loaded with hot ammo. I guess you could say I'm a glutton for recoil. Once my dad was watching me shoot and he said that every time I touched off a round, the kids shooting their .22 in the next lane over would flinch. Oops.

I went through the whole NRA program in my younger days. I would love to do more long range shooting but just don't have the time. I have a 700 in .308. One of these days I'll get something from US Optics to go on top of it!!

I got's a nice* sized collection.
I got an older 700 Sendero in .300 pretty nice Night Force scope on it... If you can find one check out a night force scope...

I like to use balloons as reactive targets just inflated enough to "disappear" when your on target. My friend has a clay mine on the edge of his property that is exactly 772 yards to the back "wall". I've Zero'ed all of my AT&T** guns here, plus its really neat to see what happens to the bullet when it strikes the clay and cavetates or breaks apart.

*nice= 2 6sqf safes and two lockers full.

I just worked out a trade with one of my customers. He's getting a refurbed custom knife. I'm getting a BRAND new, unfired H&K P7 M13 Pics in a few days, it's on the way to my FFL bud. My wife has the single stack version, we'll be like bookends I'm probably going to send it for a coating before I fire it.

Not sure. He bought several of them new in New Jersey back when he was traning the NJ police to use them. He never mentioned a German Police return.
