We had a spirited conversation this evening at the meeting of The Bass Players He-Man Guitar Haters Club. :roflmao:

Everyone did their homework and brought pretty good jokes to tell the room. I especially enjoyed Robert's train joke. :roflmao: Grant told a dirty joke. :jawdrop: We also talked some basses. Arnie had his U-bass handy. Gary sold one bass and bought three. Chris told us about the new hollowbody Ric. Nate was celebrating and we all congratulated him. Gary also told us all how to get rich by slinging rocks at the hedge fund giants. Tony's Ireland trip stories are always a hoot. Bill has several gigs booked for this summer and some of them actually pay. Plus we solved a few of the world's problems.

I hope you guys are well. You missed a fun one. I understand @Tony In Philly was feeling under the weather too. I'm hoping all you guys can join us next time. We all shared memories of the divey-est dives we have ever worked. We've worked some hum-dingers.

In the meeting there was drunkenness and debauchery, malcontents and mayhem, bodily functions and olfactory assault, and we also talked about dive bars. :roflmao:

We missed some of the regular crew, @Holdsg, @WI Short Scaler, @Tony In Philly and we're hoping to see you all next week. With my schedule next week perhaps we can get together an hour earlier on Friday night if no one objects. I'll send an email to check with you guys.

I really was a fun time. Always is when a bunch of lowend lunkhead Bassmigos get together :cool: Thanks for hosting Cliff :thumbsup:

@Tony In Philly Philly, Hope you're feeling better my friend. :)

The dive bar stories were so much fun. Most of us have had the pleasure (;)) of playing those less than first class joints. :D

Up until 2019 I had a different bar. The floor had a 6 degree slope on it. And the band played on the bottom of the sloped end - except we were next to the bathrooms. More than a few times did we get plowed into by drunks on the way to the bathrooms to puke. Ugh lol.
