i would like rickenbacker to go back to the 80s and bring back black hardware

I was literally thinking the same thing yesterday. The 80’s are back in full force it seems. Mullets, jean jackets, and bright colored guitars.
Can someone explain this one to me? It looks like a Precision, a Rick, a Dodge Charger, and a hockey stick had an orgy.

The lime one needs dayglo and pink pickup coversIs this a trend for the the foreseeable future? Is everything old, new again? Seems like a few companies seem to think it's time to bring back the 80's. What's your take on all this?
