Horrible Stock Colors

Most bursts, electric anything (I want my bass to be loud, not look loud), metal flake, and gold.

Hey now! I have a couple of Daisy Rocks. A Blue Flower and a Red Heart. I'd get a Butterfly if one ever came up that was reasonably priced. They're not bad basses, cheap electronics and pickups.

There is only one color I detest more than pink, and that's yellow. Thankfully, three out of my four daughters feel the same.

This is bad. Really, really bad. I would almost take the Antigua over this puke sparkle.

I'm not sure that I would walk away from a bass that I loved the way it played just because of the color, although I did buy my Jazz just because it was Midnight Wine . I'm pretty sure the only color I don't like is "none" -- transparent finish.

I actually dig this combo a lot, where I really did not dig the first one that was posted with the white pickguard.

The Desert gold Rickenbackers really bum me out too..

That's how I feel when I see a burst finish on a bass. It's not revolting or ugly, it's just like, "aw man, it's just a burst."

Sorry, don't mean to offend. No troll intention whatsoever. Probably great playing basses.

One of my favorite fender finishes ever. If I manage to get the $$$ together someday, I'm gonna find one or build one.

This is actually goldflake. I saw a similar CS Jazz sell for crazy amount. I think it's gorgeous, but that's just me. I'm sure there's a reason you don't see a lot of them.

This is actually goldflake.

I believe its gold leaf. At least it looks as if it's been gold-leafed. Maybe they do call it gold flake, but to me that connotes actual metal flake, which this doesn't look like.
