How about something different - let's see your #2's

My Main bass is my custom Jan Knooren Musicman alike, which is as deluxe of an instrument you can possibly get. I used it all of the time on recording sessions.

My number 2 is a home made monster, it has the body shape of a sixties Teisco, neck from an eighties "Prince" branded number of which I changed the headstock shape from a hockeystick into a Gibson Grabber-ish headstock, the Pickup comes from a Fender Sting signature bass.

I love that bass, it's so different from that super deluxe Knooren bass.

I have a number 1, and a nemero uno, so this is my #2 or 3 , depending on how you look at it .

That's a nice looking bass.

But, yeah, your number 1 and numero uno basses are on another level (I've never seen a Sandberg in person, let alone played one, but I've been intrigued by them for some reason lately).

Main one is in my avatar 2009 L2000. #2would have to be 2015 D"Angelico, actually toss up sometimes!View attachment 4590162
Wow, D'Angelico makes such beautiful instruments. Great finish, too. It looks a lot like the finish on my #2, the cherryburst L-2500 in post #1.

Number 1 currently is my black AVRI P with rounds. #2 is the 63 reissue with flats. Both used I’d say equally so tied for #2 is my moollon P bass…

I just got my new (used) Ibanez BTB 1605 (Deep Twilight) this past Tuesday because I needed a 5-string bass for the band that I just joined. It came in immaculate condition and set up with nice low action just to my liking. Even the intonation was spot on! I had a few hits and misses when buying used online purchases from Guitar Center, but this bass is definitely a hit. For now, it is my #2 behind my Ibanez SR2600 CBB, but the more that I play it - the more I like it. There is a slight high-pitched humming noise when I take my hands off of the strings, so I need to get the electronics shielded a little better down the road, but it is no deal breaker. My #2:
