"How good are you?" "I'm okay..."

@tbirdsp is that pic of you? I ask because I shared it on my FB page because I like the shirt,
and it ends a friend of mine says he knows the person in the pic. The funny thing is
I live in Greece, he lives in Nebraska, so it's a bit amazing.

I don't want to derail the thread or burst anyone's bubble, but I am BY FAR the best bassist in my basement. When one of our cats comes downstairs I crank it up and scare the crap out of them. Now THAT is talent!

For the record, about 4 gagillion inappropriate jokes just came to mind. And I left them all right here on the table. It was hard. But I did it.

I am an ok bass player. I do my homework and make sure not to waste anyone else's time by not knowing my parts. I show up on time and prepared. I have always been that way. I can't stand having to wait on big headed people that think they are superstars. They show up 30 minutes late and think nothing of it. time is a valuable thing and you don't get it back.

Is there a slightly less optimistic version of this shirt for those of us still working our way up to okay? I'm thinking something like "world's most tolerable bass player" or something along those lines.

LOL, that reminds me of the "underhanded compliments" on that play they saw on I.T. Crowd. The bass version would probably be like:

"More than tolerable"
"The audience clapped"
"Not as loud as some bass players"

:smug:
