Wishing you a full and speedy recovery @armybass! Watch out for those opioid pain killers they prescribe though. Easy as pie for a good man to get addicted without even realizing it.....;) :nailbiting:

Just got a used Spirit. Plays great, but can't track the 6-digit serial number, so I have no idea who built it and when.

Interesting. My 2014 American Deluxe has the same control layout.

Someone who has experience with both may be able to provide us enlightenment regarding any differences.

    The deluxe is active/passive?

    Maybe they just renamed it?

Truss rod adjustment differs. Maybe the pickup types, as well? There may be some other changes.

For me, whichever one takes my fancy at that time, really.

Most time is predominantly split between two of them, though.

  15. Pared down my collection a lot in the last few years. Had 11 basses probably 5 or so years ago, but now just have 3..
    01 USA Reverend Rumblefish XL
    78 MIJ Yamaha BB800
    17 USA G&L SB1

G&L is my main player, but still love my Yamaha. The Reverend doesn't get much play, but it's pretty rare so I keep it around.

Been looking at picking up one of the Ibanez Black Eagle reissues, but haven't done the deal yet.

Back down to three. I donated my Squier Deluxe Dimension IV to a local high school. Oklahoma teachers need all the help they can get. :(

3 Warmoths? That’s pretty cool! I always thought that if I ever assembled a Warmoth it would be an amalgamation of ideas that weren’t readily available commercially! What was your approach and do you have photos to share? I have 3 Warwick Corvettes (4&5 standards & a 5 $$), a Fender American pbass, a Peavey Foundation, and a Michael Kelly acoustic. I’ve often thought of assembling a short or medium scale Warmoth that hopefully wouldn’t sound like a Beatle bass or an EB-0.

Truth be told, for the Warmoths I've only bought the parts so far. I plan to start the painting process sometime late next week. For sure I'll be documenting and posting the process on here.
