You just couldn't resist showing off your "double-d's", could you?![]()
I have it on my G&L L2000 and planning to get one for my stingray, very useful, solid and the most important.. accurate
Oh yeah!1.
If you so do you find it useful?...
I only have one 4-string bass . . . my '59 Pbass . . . and it's got a Hipshot D-Tuner . . ....2.
How many basses do you have that are fitted with a Hipshot D-Tuner?...
Did G&L change something? When I was a G&L dealer (the first two or three years they were in business), Hipshot had one that was just right- the same one that fit Music Man.
the Xtender is a total eyesore when installed. Sorry that I lack a pic of the front of the headstock
No fault on HipShots side. What makes it an eyesore?

I think plankspanker13 is refering to the difference in length of the string tuning "clover" compared to the other 3 tuners . . .What makes it an eyesore?

plankspanker13 . . . did you know that Hipshot Products does custom work? . . . they'll bend over backwards trying to make a customer happy, doing whatever the customer needs . . . it DOES cost more than the standard parts, but not very much more . . . I pay between $55 to $60 each for the special order GB-7's that I use (with a longer string post than the "normal" GB-7 string post) . . . I get a discount because I always order 2 or 3 Bass Xtenders at a time . . .
I also endorse Hipshot Products Bass Xtenders . . .. . .
