So I ordered these boutique bulbs from Bulbs-R-Us, and while I really do appreciate the workmanship and consistency on the bulbs, I get horrible slippage when I tighten them to the socket. It's like when I tune up, I almost get there, and, ding! it slips. What can I do to cure this problem? Do I need to get back to garden variety GEs?

Not burned out, someone turned the dimmer switch down.

So I just recently bought this new bulb...and I love the light it gives...it looks really good...but the other day I picked it up and it made this weird rattling sound. Now every time I look at it I just think about the way it sounded and I don't like it anymore...I guess I'm seeing with my ears? I'm thinking about selling the bulb now; its just not the same anymore. What should I do?

WRT rattle - it might be a broken lighting truss. If you have warranty, you'd do best to return it.
