How much to replace your board?

Almost all the hardware can be snagged on Sweetwater including the power underneath. Before tax came to just under $2700. The last few bits and the cables would add another $200, so just shy of $3k total.

I gave up on the notion of building a big pedalboard to be used everywhere. Instead, I build a small board with essentials per gig - only keeping the power supply constant. Which is a Zuma R300 for ~$230. It functions as my pedalboard as well.

Any other pedals you find you use more often than others?

As many of those are budget, let alone used, not as much invested, but to replace? Yeah, it would add up. I would have a Radial Bassbone there instead of the graphic and DI box, but on the big board, I had a Lehle Basswitch preamp which is having some problems now, so it’s waiting for repair when I can afford it, and the Radial got shifted over to that. Roughly the same kinds of effects, but bigger models(like a Markbass Compressore, EHX Pitchfork, IE Polytope, etc…$$$). On that board, I also have it set up where the octave up is sent to separate dirt and modulation, and on to a separate amp for a faux guitar sound whenever I’m in a trio situation. The in-line effects loop patch point is for occasional off the wall stuff like the EHX Ravish Sitar and Super Ego, Ring Mods and other weird things, whenever, all on smaller boards.

Then there’s my guitar boards, but I ain’t gonna go there. But if I actually added everything up, even at used prices, I’d probably have a heart attack.

Guitar boards get out of hand even faster than bass boards!

Some of my gear has appreciated a ton since I bought it. My Noble that I got from a TBer for $950 back in 2019 is now worth about $2000 if I needed to replace one tomorrow - yikes! Too rich for my blood, I'm happy to have not paid a premium. The old big-box Octabvre MkII is going the same direction, I guess since some youtubers did shootouts with the newer version and preferred the MKII. Reverb has confirmed sales as high as $600-$800 in the past year and (stupid) current unsold listings of ones for $2999 and $3299 - absolutely ridiculous.

Most else is immediately available either direct from the manufacturer or for reasonable used prices.

I think you mentioned in another post that you run into an amp? I probably should have asked in my original question about bass players needing less pedals if they gig with amps. I actually don't even own an amp. Only play quiet stages with IEM. If you were not able to use your amp, just IEM and FOH, do you think you would invest in some type of pedalboard to get a sound you wanted? Or would you still just use a tuner and play without anything?

FWIW, I play open mics going straight to the PA fairly often, with an EQ pedal getting me in a workable zone quite easily in some cases, and doing just as well with the active EQ in my basses in others. I don't even use a DI if the board is onstage or nearby, I just go straight from the bas or EQ pedal.

If and when I ever get back to fronting my weirdo originals material again I'll probably go back to rack effects, as I absolutely despise having clutter on the floor. My plan would be to do patch shifting straight from the bass.

You should sell a modular amp: we could buy separatly a preamp module (solid state or tube), an EQ modules, and power section module

Didn't Markbass have a Momark line that was a rack chassis that you could insert various modules??

None of my effect racks are more than 10" deep or weigh more than 20lbs., and I don't give a rip about cabinet overhang so I don't need to buy a big cab just for "the look.' And my primary amp is already rack mounted, so for me the biggest downside is how expensive decent rack enclosures for my DIY builds are. But in your case it would be a pretty substantial format jump, I reckon. The last time I did rack effects in earnest this wasn't even the whole schmear:
