My first performance was in 4th grade for trumpet in the skool concert. My first gig on bass will be this february and i'll almost be 13. Its for our skool talent show and we're doing bleed american by jimmy eat world

Hmmm for sax, 6th grade, so that'd be 11 years old.
For bass, lesseee, that'd be about 7th grade or so which would equate out to 13. Current age: nearly 17.

I think I was 12 or 13... it was somewhere between 6 months and a year and it was at a coffee house that plays mainly folk music. My first rock gig was around the year/year and a half mark.

If playing at church in front of people counts, then I was 12 when I first gigged on drums, and 13 when I first gigged on bass.

First gig with a band outside of church? I was 17.

First paying gig? I think that I was 29.

15, after about a month of the existence of my first band, I was singing it sucked. On bass with singing in 2 weeks, so 18.
