How old were you when you had your first gig :D

I was 16 playing at a school talent show. I was playing my appalling 'Gould' bass, through one of my teachers tube amps. We played 'The man who can't be moved' by the script. Let's just say we didn't win the show...
 
I was 17 at a place called The Rage in Baltimore, Md. I was in a thrash metal/punk band that played in the Baltimore-Washington D.C. area in the early 90's. I had to lie to my parents and tell them I was either working late or going to my friend's house all night in order to play these gigs. They got suspicious when they saw all my guitar gear and wondered why I needed so much gear for playing at church. I was a good liar, though.


I did this as a guitarist.
