I CAN'T MAKE UP MY MIND ABOUT MEN!!!!!!!

i saw a show one time a gal was on a boat a guy was reeling in a marlin the thing jumped in the boat speared the chick in the fake tit, months after her chest didn't feel right, the doctors finally found silicone gel behind her rib cage, they had to spoon it out, it was pretty disgusting.

Thanks for the update...

You'd be surprised what you see happening on boats. ;) Once some of these boats get out of sight of land suddenly chicks loose their clothes. Amazing how that works. :D

When I was in college one of my freinds was pre med. The chances of her going to med school in MI (where we were at) were doubtful (she ended up in Calinfornia). She still dated, knowing that as soon as she got accepted to med school the relationship would be over. It was still enjoyable to her to have all the immediate things being in a relationship can give you. Your boyfreind is at this point.

And I think he considers you more than a freind with benefits. It sounded like he got jealous at his show the other night and showed others you were his. He is probably somewhere in between. He wants to date you exclusively, considers you high on his list of people he knows, but has goals outside of marriage. Mess with them and you're done.

I definitely agree. My career choice pretty much requires me to go to graduate school. While I'm applying to a few schools which are local, I'm also applying to others in different states. I'm hoping to stay around here for a few more years, but that might not be the reality of the situation. I definitely enjoy dating and may even fall in love before I begin my graduate studies. But when it comes down to it, if I have to leave the area for a program, then I'm leaving. If I fall in love and the person wants to follow me, that's great. But I wouldn't ask someone to follow me, nor would I expect them to.

Also plus 1 to the comments about older women. I am rather forward that I enjoy the company of older women (by older I mean 5 to 10 years older than me). Of course, I've always been mature for my age (whatever age I am at the time), so maybe that has something to do with it.

Hell, I was going to create a thread for this but this seems relevant...
''Male Rules

male side.
These are our rules!
Please note.. these are all numbered "1"
ON PURPOSE!

1. Men are NOT mind readers.

1. Learn to work the toilet seat.
You're a big girl. If it's up, put it down.
We need it up, you need it down.
You don't hear us complaining about you leaving it down.

1. Sunday sports It's like the full moon
or the changing of the tides.
Let it be.

1. Shopping is NOT a sport.
And no, we are never going to think of it that way.

1. Crying is blackmail.

1. Ask for what you want.
Let us be clear on this one:
Subtle hints do not work!
Strong hints do not work!
Obvious hints do not work!
Just say it!

1. Yes and No are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question.

1. Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it. That's what we do.
Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.

1. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument.
In fact, all comments become null and void after 7 Days.

1. If you think you're fat, you probably are.
Don't ask us.

1. If something we said can be interpreted two ways and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the other one

1. You can either ask us to do something
Or tell us how you want it done.
Not both.
If you already know best how to do it, just do it yourself.

1. Whenever possible, Please say whatever you have to say during commercials..

1. Christopher Columbus did NOT need directions and neither do we.

1. ALL men see in only 16 colors, like Windows default settings.
Peach, for example, is a fruit, not A color. Pumpkin is also a fruit. We have no idea what mauve is.

1. If it itches, it will be scratched.
We do that.

1. If we ask what is wrong and you say "nothing," We will act like nothing's wrong.
We know you are lying, but it is just not worth the hassle.

1. If you ask a question you don't want an answer to, Expect an answer you don't want to hear.

1. When we have to go somewhere, absolutely anything you wear is fine... Really .

1. Don't ask us what we're thinking about unless you are prepared to discuss such topics as baseball, the shotgun formation,
or golf.

1. You have enough clothes.

1. You have too many shoes.

1. I am in shape. Round IS a shape!

1. Thank you for reading this.
Yes, I know, I have to sleep on the couch tonight;

But did you know men really don't mind that? It's like camping.

Pass this to as many men as you can -
to give them a laugh''

I highlighted some in bold for a reason...(not all apply here obviously, a new thread for them just seems like a waste, and possibly a repost:eek: )

No Dis. The point is not that. There is no point. People date because its the ritual peole go through when they want to hook up and have sex. From that point on they determine the varying degrees of compatibility. If you're searching for mister right you're constantly on that horribly contrived "interview" type of situation. First there's sex and physical attraction. Nothing else. Then there's the time inbetween and leading up to sex. Somewhere in there, a guy realizes that hey, I like this chick. I like being around her. That's when feelings start happening for a guy. But if a guy has sex with you and then he sees crazy eyes. He's gonna run for the hills everytime. Even if you disguise your intentions well, you can't hide crazy eyes.

THAT line of thinking is THE biggest reason for failed relationships. If you take physical attraction and sex out of the equation, what you are left with is what good relationships are ALL about.

Before I met my wife, I was waiting for a haircut, and was sitting there and on the coffe table in front of me were a bunch of books and magazines. One book, a book of quotes, was lying open. On that page facing me was the quote (by some unknown man)...

"Marry someone you love to talk with, because in the long run, that is all that matters."

That was a "light-bulb" moment. Every relationship I ever had was based on physical attraction and great sex. But the part that makes for a strong relationship was forced and unnatural because we could never have long meaningful conversations.

Don't get me wrong, my wife and I are physically attracted to one another, and the sex is great...but we have a great relationship because it isn't based on either of those things.

If you think that great relationships are based on physical attraction and sex...well, good luck to you then. Even initially, those things are not that important to people who actually want, and are looking for, a strong relationship.

Don't believe me? Think about your current relationship (whatever stage it's at) and think how you would still feel about it if say, your wife/girlfriend was in a horrible car accident that left her scarred terribly and/or paralyzed where she could no longer have sex. Would your relationship be just as strong? I know mine would. I adore my wife. The fact that she is attractive and/or the sex is great is NOT why I married, or even dated, her. I love the person she is.

Based on, no. I do think sex is an important part of the relationship, yes. And the number of presex marriages ending up in divorces in the US proves that, many MANY times over :)

Honestly the men you mentioned do not seem like a exemplary examples of the male sex in general. Not that there are a lot of men running around being excellent examples for the rest of man-kind mind you.

On another note being turned down for marriage not once but twice has gotta sting bad. That is assuming he actually invested time in a relationships and picked an opportune moment.

Anyhwo I think there is a book called "He's Just Not That Into You" that apparently is recommended to women in your position.

You know that I work as a deckhand on our lifeguard vessel in the summer right?

>>>> No, I did not know that. What harbor do you work out of??

We fish and sometimes for fun we radar ping schools and free dive them with a harpoon gun.

>>> Sand Bass off the Huntington Flats???

About a month ago some yellow tail got caught in a warm current and washed to shore. Got caught in the low tide shallows

>>>> Where, where where???? I've never seen that!

Interested in bein' a boat ho?? The YT are about ready to go WFO at SCI and the Coronados...

A friend of mine happened upon some people making a porno on a Tuesday morning off SCI. He said he came rippin around the East End, and there they were, humpin away...He started to anchor up about about 150 feet away. All the cameras came down, the clothes went back on, and then they split...
