I CAN'T MAKE UP MY MIND ABOUT MEN!!!!!!!

Is anyone else as annoyed by ebonics as I am?

This woman needs some studly single TB'er to rise up and say "hey aren't you that damsel in distress? Allow me to introduce myself, they call me "bad ass knight in shining armour, and I'm on my way to rescue you from bordom and loneliness (and da Bears). See you in a few".

Chivalry is alive.

And drive all the way to Illinois? Are you crazy? :eyebrow:

Besides, it would just freak her out. It would me. :rollno:

"Hi! I know you from the internets! I drove here to make you my pooky! Nice rear, get in the truck!"

Ok, you've got the right attitude - you may be the guy.

First, you have to exchange pics, start IM'ing for a week or two, then agree to each drive half way to meet, or something to see each other face to face - maybe a quick flight. Good job on asking the right questions.

White Castle sliders are little hamburgers that a many men in Chicago cannot live without. A small bite of heaven in every burger.

Oh, I know what they are, I used to live in Minneapolis. But squished to the bottom of someone's feet? OK, maybe freshly showered feet on a squeaky clean floor... hmmm, now I get it.

Are you ticklish, dis? :ninja:

I'm not so concerned about 23's lack of whatever. I expected that. I guess I'm mostly tired of being TOLD that they are not interested BECAUSE some girl hurt them in the past. And I never know if that is the truth, or some line that really means "I'm not interested."

More often than not that's the truth. Some people get torn up bad enough that afterwards they have a very dark shadow hanging over the thought of love for a while or for the rest of their lifes in some cases.

The idea was to get men to fall at my feet. Since the raincoat and the chicken wasn't working.

I'm gonna give you a piece of advice from a woman who has married well to great guy that loves and adores her. That lady is my wife. ;)

Make a list of what you want in a life partner. Use categories like spirituality, career, intimacy, sexuality, hobbies, physical appearance, etc. Be as detailed as you want. Then take that list and pick 5-10 of the most important qualities.
The reason for doing this is so that you don't shoot down a potential "Mr. Right" for something irrelevant, even though he has the most essential qualities you are looking for. It will also help you determine who "Mr. Wrong" is, and might prevent you from wasting your biological clock time on a relationship that is going nowhere.

Next make a list of what you are willing to put up with. The concept of "I want someone perfect who accepts me as I am" is one of biggest detriments to finding a partner. You are not perfect and neither is your partner. So, decide what you are willing to put up with. This will help you decide who is really "Mr Wrong" vs "Mr. Right" who may have a few rough edges.

You're an attractive woman with a nice personality, so finding men to approach you shouldn't be the issue. It's the right man approaching you, that is. Resolve that issue by knowing what Mr. Right should look like.

Hope this helps. If not, blame my wife.
