If you're married, I have to politely ask if your wife threw it away. Because in my experience, wives throw everything away.
I used to get really agitated when I misplaced something (still do!) and my mom would say, "Slow down and open your eyes". She was right.
I misplaced a package with a white label on top not too long ago. So, I was looking for something that was white and similarly sized. I finally found it on a shelf, and must have looked right at it 5 or 6 times. It was turned upside down with the white top no longer visible. When I slowed down I found it.![]()
It’s a brain glitch. I once ran around my house for a good ten minutes frantically looking everywhere for my car keys, WHICH WERE IN MY HAND THE WHOLE TIME. Good luck!

I'm actually still trying after several YEARS to get her to work with me on throwing a bunch of stuff away. I'm the one who wants to rid us of a bunch of stuff.
That's the problem with glasses. I need them to FIND THEM.
