I Miss The 2x15!

its has 2 outputs at 4ohms each.. you can't run these cabs in series, they only have one jack. I've run them together plenty of times, but to be honest Since I got the Peavey, I just use that and leave the yamaha at the practice spot.

Even if a cab has two jacks they are more than likely wired in parallel. So even if you daisy chain them you're not running them in series.

If your drivers are 8ohms each and wired in parallel to make each cabinet 4ohms then what your amp will see is a 2ohm load.
I thought the MAG300 had one speakon and one 1/4" phone jack for speaker outputs? If so then it's meant to handle a 4ohm minimum load.
Some of their bigger amps have two power sections each with one speakon and one 1/4" phone jack. They WILL handle 4ohm loads on each side.

(NOTE: all of the above ohm ratings are nominal.)

Boy, haven't seen one of these things in ages. I used to run one of these cabs for my Taurus pedals...back in day.

I have 4 of these cabs. I'll have to post a pic one day of all 4.

i really want to try the same kinda rig that peter hook uses nowadays. its a trace 2x15 with a 2x10..... i think

wow, i've been wondering if there's many Ashdown users out there using 2 of their 15's. Was considering getting this combination to use with my ABM 500. How does it sound? How does it handle the low end and mids? Any "woofiness"? These are the 15 compact versions right?

If you drive two 4-ohm cabs with the same head, you are pushing a 2-ohm load, unless it is a two-channel head with two separate output sections.
