Well, I guess I could, if you all don't mind staying in an 80 square metre flat with me and my two flatmates. :þChiliPepper said:so are you hosting it ?
Unless we would go to the other side of Iceland, where I used to live, and stay in my grandparents´ house.
It's about 2 kilometres from the village. Too bad I don't have a picture of it. I'm listening to the Blues Brothers.
Well, I´ve been in NYC only once (2000).
The GTG sounds like a perfect excuse to be there again.
In fact I told my wife that she´s gotta visit the city.
The problem is that I´ll need to rest 3 days before the event, in order to get recovered from the 12 hours flight.
Now seriously, I´d love to be there. Sounds like an oddisey to me, but it´s a lifetime opportunity.

like i said if we plan this years in advance, it should be possible for most people. ( except for the minors )
As an officer of the Moose Lodge, I would boot most of the cash to rent the lodge here in Illinois. We can hold up to 500 people. We're only a couple hours East of Chicago. Hotels are CHEAP around here!
This is something I have given some more thought to. Why dont we try to shoot for 2008 when Talk Bass turns 10 years old and in honor of the founder and owner Paul we have it in Texas. Any thoughts on this ?
2008 might just be enough time to plan a major feat like this. Possibly one of the largest online forum get togethers in history?

This is my first time seeing this. I would be extremely interested and would gladly fly or take a train from Michigan to participate. I think it sounds like an awesome idea!
how about New Orleans? it is a fun place and I love it since I moved down about 4 years ago

wow guys, you're really takin this GTG thing to the next level. I would definetly make an effort to attend something of this magnitude.
