I have no idea why, but the topless Valerie Perrine is still mind blowing. Maybe it's her humor. Not too many nudie-girls are funny.
After intelligence, humor is the most attractive quality for me.

Reminds me of one of my favorite internet memes. My guitar player wrote something stupid on his facebook page when he was pissed off the other week, so I sent him this. Since he is cat-owner, he appreciated it.
Exactly! That's precisely what happened. I called two of my brothers to let them know and then wrote about Dad's illness and death for four hours, getting more and more exhausted but forcing myself to get it all down in one sitting. Impressions evolve. I made a documentary about Dad's death that I was going to put on my Website, but I've changed my mind. It wasn't a hatchet job or anything, but I've realized that there's no reason to share. It won't accomplish anything.
The novel and dream diary that are companion volumes to the memoir will suffice. They have distance that the documentary didn't.

I bought Pink Things and like you, it's my new favourite album. You can't argue with stuff like that. It's in the moment and if it works it's the best kind of music there is. Well, for me anyway.
It's great to hear Scott playing his awesome train-of-thought music but free of the constraints of other people's forms finally.

Isn't Pink Things great? I keep listening to it, hearing new things each time. The bass is just amazing.
I'll post the links here where the album is ready. They begin recording next week.
Yes the bass is amazing - some great great stuff with his trademark growly Precision tone but interestingly it sounds on nearly half the album that he's using a Stingray, and to great effect too considering it's a reasonably mellow album.
Maybe mellow is the wrong word. Trippy?
The guitar playing is some of the most original I've heard in a long while and the drums are very tasty too. Fantastic sounding snare.
As you say, the more you listen, the more you find.
I think I like it mostly because I don't know what to call it!
