No noise when I am not playing - so not static per se. But when I do play the sounds are fuzzy, and are worse on certain effects/settings. Not sure if it is interference since there is no noise when I am not playing. Maybe just need a better wireless?

Quite possible. I'd eliminate the wireless as a potential issue by seeing if it happens with other wireless systems. It could simply be interference from the wireless signal. What interface are you using? If you have an iRig and don't have the wifi turned off, you will pick up some RF interference, and that *might* be the issue here. Need a bit more info, though.

I can only comment on the headphone jack as output because I'm running on an iPhone 4S, but I've never had any problems with it being high enough quality for live use.

My eventual goal is to get an iPad, but for now it sounds fantastic on the iPhone.

I've actually had people come up to me at gigs and say that my SVT sounded awesome. The funny thing is that my stage amp at the time was a cheap Acoustic B200 combo! I used it for stage volume since I played with a heavy handed drummer and a guitarist that did the whole mid-scoop thing and cranked to ear-splitting levels.

I've been using the GK700RB as my amp model lately. I gotta say, as much as I love the 360, the GK just sounds more naturally like "me". I'm able to dial in my tone on any of the amps, but I've really fallen for the GK.

Awesome! The headphone jack is unbalanced right? So I can just go headphone jack > 1/4" adapter > power amp? I just lose one of the channels but that should be ok assuming the app is pushing out a mono signal?

I apologize if this has already been asked. I've read through a number if these pages, but there is SO MUCH.

I'm trying to practice with my bass -> irig -> garage band. When I try to jam along with an mp3, the bass volume is too low. If I try to lower the volume of the iphone's music app, it lowers the volume of the instrument as well. Is there way to control the volume of each separately?

How about with garageband? I have the same issue when trying to jam along to full band practices that I've recorded with the garage band's mic.

Yup. You can go straight to an amp if you like. I always run from my iPhone to a Behringer BDI21 (with the effect turned off), which allows me to split the signal so I can send an XLR to the FOH and a 1/4" to my amp. Direct box is helpful but not absolutely needed, at least in my case.

If you have level problems, try a direct box. If you only run one channel, make sure you use the left side.

You can lower/ boost the volume of each track in GB. So import your song into GB as one of the tracks. Or use Jamup/ Amplitube/ Ampkit as each of these apps have a playalong utility.

Between the Jam and the iTrack Solo (which I have), both are 24-bit capable, and able to sample up to 48khz. The iTrack allows up to 96khz on a Mac/PC, and also comes with an XLR input, and the Focusrite preamps in both inputs. It also costs substantially more at $99 for the Jam and $130 for the iTrack Solo. I use both inputs for recording on my iOS device and my Mac and my PC, so I opted for an iTrack SOlo that I purchased from a fellow TBer used.

Both come with some software bundles. I dig the Scarlett Plug in Suite, personally. I don't quite like the interface of Ableton Live Lite, but it comes with that, too.

Neither allow charging of your iOS device while connected to it. Between live sets, I disconnect and charge my iOS device.

I think the iTrack can do 96/24 on iPad
