I asked them about multiple AirTurn pedals. Short answer, they didn't get my question. But, I'm hopeful that soon there will be multi-pedal support.

Are you saying they didn't understand what you were asking? If true, I'm not surprised. I'm always trying to explain ideas and products in an attempt to find other devices to work with them. It's often that I know more about them then they do, and that's sad, really.I asked them about multiple AirTurn pedals. Short answer, they didn't get my question. So what do you guys use to get your signal from your bad to your iPad (I have the Apogee Jam) and how don you get the sound from your iPad to your amp/FOH?
Will an iPod work? I use my iPad for charts and my iPhone for running my IEM mix.

Yet another reason for me to get an iPad.
I don't think the product was ever developed with the intention of using to control JamUp or similar apps. It was simply a page turner. This is probably why there is no expression pedal support and the design of the unit doesn't look at robust as something like the Blueboard ( still vaporware ). They probably need a musician or two that actively use iOS/PC/MAC in a sound chain to advise them on how their products are being used in the real world and the different situations that can be encountered.
Some of the new stuff won't be available for iPhones, just iPads. When I did the beta testing for PG, I only used iPhone.
The new stuff is iPad only (I'm expecting, I don't know for sure), so I guess it'll be time to upgrade.

Anyone know if this is also true of current gear or JamUp? I never thought to check to see if everything is the same...
Well, this could be the push to sell some of my gear to purchase an iPad as replacement and dedicate it to music![]()
Indeed, that would be very slick. Also, at about $65 for a magic box that has 4 patches, adding pedals would be easy to expand. Handy people (like myself), could easily put an expandable pedal board together. It would be nice if you could have two or more BT105s hooked up in your Bluetooth device list, and assign one set of controls to BT #1, and one set to BT#2. And no doubt the folks at Positive Grid have thought of that.
Can't see a difference between phone and iPad app at present but iPad is much easier to navigate plus cubasis is a dream for recording into via audiobus and writing on the fly. No in app purchases needed once you have cubasis . Auria apparently has the edge with plugins but the results I've had with cubasis are professional audio quality so much so that I sold a tune I wrote on it!

Can't argue the small screen of the iphone is a hinderance, but the ability to have a decent project studio in your POCKET is a huge boon.
I've never once heard JamUP would be going iPad only, that would stink.
what I've meant by performance is more regarding heavier apps then Jamup, stuff like Auria, Cubasis and other future apps.Oh definitely. The ONLY problem I have with my iPhone is the screen size,, NOT performance.
