Bias indeed expand you possibilities. Like making the 103 more of a bass amp by using a bass cab, and adjusting the internal HPF and LPF.
Hmmm....I think I must be missing something. I bought Jamup Pro XT and the bass expansion pack. Someone else mentioned that there are two bass expansion packs, but I only see the one on this site: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed].
Are any of the guitar amps usable for bass? And by usable I mean - do they maintain the bottom end without bi-amping?
And same question about Bias. Looks wonderful, but there is no mention of using it for bass. Does it keep the low end?

Not sure how useful this is to you guys in the US but even with the shipping this is hella cheap for me.

I use the Bias amps more the Jamup ones. The SVT on BIAS sound more open and clear then the Jamup one. The SVT on Jamup which sound good still sound like somebody placed the mic in a ton of socks...
The Orange AD200 on Bias is also better then the Jamup one.
Garageband Questions.
There is not a "Learn to play" option in Garageband 08 v4.1.2.
Is there a similar function in GB08 or another app to use to learn bass lines from for Mac OSX 10.7.5 and Apogee Jam 96K?
What I have been doing is utilizing the Finger Style Bass and tiny keyboard window to sound out bass riffs and then apply it to the fretboard.

And to answer my own question regarding 2 bass expansion packs. Only one is visible on the Apple website that I can find. However, once you buy Jamup other purchases are made from inside the app, not from iTunes or Apple. To do this you press the icon of the tiny shopping cart in the lower left corner. That took awhile to figure out.

is there an app that satisfies all of the following conditions?
1.) Has a quick, responsive, chromatic tuner (to check intonation on fretless)
2.) Has a metronome
3.) Has the possibility to select the input channel (to use it with my iTrack Solo)
If there's a metronome that can play in the background while the tuner is running, that would be fine as well.
I also like InsTuner, but i haven't found a way to make it work with my iTrack ... you can't really select the input channel ...
Overall goal is to improve my sightreading abilities while also checking intonation ...

Don't know if this was mentioned by BIAS is 12.99 ( -25% off ) in the US app store now. I just updated an iPad 2 and even though its not my main iOS device I am so tempted to buy it to play around a bit.
No one at all ? It's possible with GarageBand, but still, the tuner ist not THAT responisve ...
A cheep metronome/ tuner is.... Buy GarageBand which is so much more. For the price of a tuner you get a whole DAW.
I use the one on Jamup.
I've had great luck with Petersen's strobe tuner app, which does not play audio out. However, it doesn't interfere with apps that will play in the background.
I don't use a traditional metronome, I load up Figure or Easybeats3 and create a quick lick to play with. It's a little more fun than your standard BLEEP BLOOP BLOOP BLOOP BLEEP BLOOP BLOOP BLOOP, but every bit as accurate.
