Played my Sub T last night. Oh my. Nearly destroyed my cab. Wow. Just wow.

Just received my SubT. You're right: this thing should come with a warning label; it's a super-crunchy, pitch-mauling, cab-destroyer--in the very best of ways.

Been working out the order for a board that should arrive Tuesday. Fun on the floor.

Sounds best to me with Accountant>Drop>Subterranea>Grey Stache>Blower Box>Mini>Xerograph Deluxe>Organizer>Polytope>Analog Echo>Nimbus>Ditto

Anyone want to share a setting for the Sub and Xero D for a fatty synth sound? Please, I have a couple dialed in, but I'm curious to see what other people are doing.

Just started playing around with these, but here's what I like for that so far:

SubT
Rt switch: Saw
Lt switch: Square, Narrow or Saw to taste
Octo: 10:30
Uni: 1:00
Octave: 3:00
Filter: 11:30
Clean: 2:00

XeroD
Rt switch: S
Middle switch: 2
Left switch: Down
Res: 2:00
Sens: 3:00
Freq: 10:00
Clean: 9:00
Filter: match volume or boost (9:00 for me)

Moog EP-3
Sweep/range: 9:00

I've been considering branching out and buying a compressor for the first time, possibly the MXR M87 - anyone have experience throwing their SubT through one they could share? Seems like it might help me tame the beast so to speak.
I've not tried a compressor with the Sub yet, but it seems like you might get the best results putting the comp before the Sub- would help even out and improve tracking.

I might have to look into an Accountant for this purpose!

In non-bass related SubT news, I just ran my Dave Smith Mopho synth through the Sub for the first time and was blown away! The Mopho is a mono synth that can get pretty fat, but combined with the SubT and Polytope it can just CRUSH! I've also run these through my Xero Deluxe set as an envelope filter and got some massive results (can use the Filter section on the Mopho for general tone shaping, then the Xero for the sweeps!). I've already found all of these to pair well with my guitar as well!

I love Iron Ether stuff so much. I've never been so inspired to create new crazy tones as I am with their pedals every time I sit down to experiment!
