I take the opposite approach. I call it the Wheel of Fortune approach where they give you R, S, T, L, N & E. Words like STARE, TEARS & ROAST have worked really well. I'm almost always solving in 3 or 4.IME, a good working strategy is to start with a preponderance of vowels, like bAYOU, AIslE, hOArY, and what have you. But then getting a hit on, say, an A doesn't mean there won't be another A in there.

I go here to play… [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] I don't see any NYT influence.I swear it's gotten more difficult since NYT took over.
I have a couple of words I start with but once you find a letter it's hard not to want to adjust to words that contain that letter, in case you get lucky!IME, a good working strategy is to start with a preponderance of vowels, like bAYOU, AIslE, hOArY, and what have you. BTW, I cleared my history and cache today and went to the Wordle page. It let me play again! I got it in 1 try! Imagine that!
Oh, it's a very hard game for me most of the time. I get lucky most times.I just meant the words seem harder for me to figure out. Could just be me.
