Is it wrong to think you're unattractive?

Hi. I'm refreshing my social world and updating my wardrobe. I could really use your help finding a {insert article(s) of clothing here} to update my look. I like to do {insert two or three things you really enjoy}. Can you suggest some {repeat article(s) of clothing} that will look great and that I'll be able to wear for a while?

She should now engage and start asking you about your social world in order to help you select clothing. It's likely (although not guaranteed) that she'll comment about fun stuff you mention. When she does, that's a clue that she's a little bit interested. Then you can ask her questions back.

When you make your purchase (and for that much help you do need to buy at least one thing), don't buy everything you wanted. Randomly go back to the store to scope out when she's working and talk to her about the things she helped you pick out. Compliment her taste on the thing you bought. Buy another piece from her recommendations. Then ask her for coffee after she's off work.

And that's what you say to the girl in the mall without getting her fired.

Can you pwetty please be my coach? :D

I'm way too attractive to relate to this thread. At 6'5, 210lbs of hulking muscle with size 14 feet....I'm a women's walking wet dream.

(That sound you heard in the background was my wife hitting her head falling over from laughing. Just before she fell she mumbled something that sounded like...."big feet and only big shoes for you pal"....not sure what that means)

;)

Heh. There are other women here. I'm friends with them. I would not go so far as to suggest that my viewpoint is anywhere near aligned with theirs. I'm the least "typical" woman you'll ever know. ;) Just ask anyone in TBOT; they'll tell you. I'm far too blunt to be a "normal" woman.

There's this that goes along with it, as well. We are women. We have no idea what we want. We absolutely will be angry if we don't get it. Our drug of choice, in most cases, is attention (personally, I prefer basses, electronics, and shoes, but that's a whole other thread). We want a guy to want us. When he does, we don't want him to want us that much. There's a formula for how to keep us interested - Maki explains that part far better than I do.

The fact that you understand this must cause more frustration than the underlying issue itself.

If you went to the drawing board 400 times a day, at 28 years old, you'd only have been to that drawing board 4 million 88 thousand times.

I think your numbers are off.

Infinity can not be known, instead can only be felt.

When somebody asks what you want in a relationship after your love life has been practically run over by a bull dozer, how do you respond? With '****ing around'? Or 'to get married'?
