they have helped me on several occasions (as a buyer)- not one complaint on my part.I have definitely heard nightmare stories about PP. but thanksfully they have always been good for me.
Thats easy to say when its not you waiting around three months for a couple of grand that paypal wont let you have. Not to mention I had planned to use some of the cash to pick up a '69 EB3 that sold to someone else because paypal wanted to sit on my funds. How many times do you let a company f you before you refuse to give them your business anymore? Like I said in my earlier post, its happened to thousand of other people so dont be surprised if they pull it on you one day..6% of your transactions didn't go as planned.....
If someone is stupid enough to get taken by this, they deserve to lose their money. It never ceases to amaze me how gullible people can be.
I'm looking for one too.... Saw that listing couple three times andMeanwhile if anyone reading this has a spare Heartfield DR5 they would like to sell me...

Wow. Is that for all sellers or just new sellers?
I recently sold a bass on eBay and PayPal held the money for something like 6 days. I don't sell a lot on eBay but I have perfect feedback.Huh....
Paypal has never held my money. Sounds like he got in trouble, and they are holding his funds. So now, he doesn't want to send any merch until he can hide is money away.
The pictures alone would have scared me away, without the nonsense about labels.
Someone mentioned small claims court...
Judge Judy would roast this guy so hard...

I politely declined earlier and he just sent me a very defamatory message. Which is a sure way to know that it is indeed a scam.
Lol. The guy keeps unleashing and trolling on me.
He listed the basses on CL to "prove this wasn't a scam" and then went on to say he would refuse to sell them to me on CL because he doesn't want to circumvent eBay.
Then he said "I also have other listings on CL" and sent me one. Here is the link, and j am not kidding!

That's a genius observation. And I suppose if someone breaks into your house and steals stuff you deserve it for not having better security?
Good point. But the reason I don't think this is a good analogy is because if someone robs your house, it is due to LACK OF ACTION (no security system, no arms, no fighting skills, unlocked door, etc.). Buying a bass under such ridiculous terms requires willful engagement, ACTION on the buyer's part. So far, neither has happened to me and I like to think it is because of good decisions on my part.
Wouldn't say "deserves it," but I might say that person might want to consider where he/she lives and take appropriate action to discourage break-ins as much as their budget allows. Same with this...as they always say, caviar emptor. That's a genius observation. And I suppose if someone breaks into your house and steals stuff you deserve it for not having better security?
