I've been on talkbass for over four years...

I've learned a lot in these four years.


-I play a P-bass.

-My P-bass wears flats.

-I play through an Ampeg amp.

-I play finger style.

-I like carrots.


I still don't understand the fascination with tort and rosewood, but I'm still learning.

I've been lurking for years and been a member since 2009 I think. I've never owned a P bass or even a Fender/Squire, I did try the flats but ditched them after awhile, I switched from Ampeg to a smaller and lighter GK, I play both fingers and pick, I can slap but I don't, I love pedals, and my bands almost never have drama or bad drummers. Seems I haven't learned much from TB.

Edit: I love fuzz, I learned that one from TB effects

Doesn't time fly, I've been here 8 years.

I learned pretty quick that there is no standard bassplayer, we all play different venues, genres, basses and gear and have differing skill levels and aspirations, just accept it and get in the woodshed!
