I love Jerzy's work, but his basses are CNC, not all hand made. But he is an unbelievible artist with the CNC.

I'm pretty fond of it.

If all of the chrome hardware was black on this bass...it would hands down be my favorite bass. It already is, but with the modifications I mentioned it would be unbeatable.

Who makes the blue strings? Back in the very early 70's I saw a guy playing a Ric 4001 and he had it wound with green-color tapewounds. I've never seen any colored strings again until now.

They are probably DRs. I have used their Black Beauties and Red Devils (at church, no less ) on a few of my basses, and they're nice strings.

I am amazed at how most of the basses in this thread look virtually unplayed, un-gigged at least.

I can't imagine this bass player laying it down on a bubinga what have you and looking as cool as he does with this very nice Kay bass.
But it all kinda comes down to personal taste.
